1. What is the architectural model of Kapture.io?

Kapture.io has been developed under a cloud-native architecture in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode, which allows:

• Access to the service from any web browser.
• Automatic scalability based on the volume of requests.
• Improved fault tolerance to ensure service continuity.
• Compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001 cybersecurity standard, which certifies secure information management.

In addition, hybrid models could be enabled, such as Cloud + On-premise if the customer has specific security or latency requirements. It is important to note that purely On-premise installation outside a controlled environment is not contemplated.

2. Can Kapture.io integrate with your ERP?

Yes. Kapture.io offers extensive integration capabilities with ERP systems and other industrial plant systems such as MES, WMS, PLC, and other OT systems. This is thanks to its modular architecture and API-first approach.

3. What are the communication methods supported by Kapture.io?

Kapture.io has several supported communication methods, such as:

• REST API and Webhooks
• Exchange of flat files in CSV, XLSX, and TXT formats.
• Industrial protocols for OT systems.
• Direct connection to databases.

4. What are the integrations we do in Kapture.io?

We perform integrations with Odoo, SAP, Dynamics 365, SAGE, Navision, among others. Kapture.io can support both real-time and batch integrations, depending on the capabilities of the ERP and the customer’s processes, thus ensuring bidirectional information exchange and avoiding data redundancy.

Although there may be ERP models with limitations in terms of bidirectional capabilities, integration gaps can be bridged with intermediate databases. Compatible data formats include JSON, XML, CSV, XLSX, among others.

In addition, Kapture.io, offers a complete connectivity (360°) with PLC devices and OT systems, using TCP/IP based industrial protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT, facilitating integration in both local environments and cloud solutions. It is important to specify that this type of connectivity may require third-party software such as an OPC UA Server.

5. Can Kapture.io integrate with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)?

Yes. Kapture.io allows you to feed analytical platforms such as SAP Analytics Cloud through:

• Exposure of datasets via APIs or intermediate ETL connectors.
• Scheduled exports in compatible formats such as CSV/XLSX in SAC structures.

Yes. Kapture.io has multiple resources and native integrations with Power BI. Examples of this would be:

• Exposure of datasets via REST APIs or intermediate ETL connectors.
• Scheduled exports in compatible formats such as CSV/XLSX available in Power BI Service, whether using a Pro or Premium account.
• Templates and repositories adapted to Kapture.io software.
• Loads and other stored procedures in the database.

The architecture of Kapture.io is designed to automatically scale based on actual usage. Thanks to this self-scaling architecture, we maintain high availability, consistent performance, and efficient use of resources. This architecture allows us flexibility in data structure and high access concurrency. This means that, when faced with an increase in the number of users or workload, the application dynamically self-regulates without manual intervention.

8. Could specific functionalities be developed with Kapture.io?

Advanced customers can develop extensions or integrations using our public APIs.

The My Apps feature is also available, allowing applications developed by the customer team or Kapture.io to be integrated into the Kapture.io menu. We would like to point out that before each new integration into My Apps, we assess its technical and functional feasibility to ensure its deployment.

9. Can Kapture.io’s standard functionality be complemented?

Yes. With Kapture.io, you can complement the standard functionality by:

• Personalized reports.
