Can you imagine being able to detect product quality and defects easily, efficiently and quickly? Kapture.io helps you to achieve it thanks to the defect map.

What is a defect map and what is it for?
The defect map is an innovative functionality that allows you to control and visualize the quality of your products, in addition to providing you with speed and efficiency in decision making, both corrective and preventive, and having a great impact on the reduction of non-quality costs.
How does the defect map work?
The defect map allows us to select the level of accuracy required, and we will do so by adjusting the image and the scale of its corresponding grid, adapting it to the needs and requirements of the product.
With this quality control process, defects are easily located in the image, as well as their corresponding severity, obtaining a weighted result of the product quality visualized in a heat map.
As we report defects and their severity, the heat map is updated, as well as the trend and pareto graphs. The heat map, together with the system of alarms and notifications, allows us to make agile decisions, and will help us to reduce cost overruns due to lack of product quality.

The defect map is a solution framed in the evolution towards Industry 4.0 and its connected processes. In addition, it integrates and facilitates access to quality data from various sources on a single platform.
