What is the Control Plan?
The Control Plan is a methodology documented in the APQP manual to minimize variation in product manufacturing. There are three types of plans: prototype, pre-series and production. Below, we can see an example:

What is its function in the plant?
For use in plant, the Control Plan is transferred to the control ranges located at the workstations. Whether these control ranges include setups, machines, instrumentation or materials and components, the automatic data acquisition of the automatic data acquisition will speed up processes exponentially in terms of time reduction, while improving quality.

From the receipt of materials to the final controls, walls and residents, the different processes summarized in the Control Plan can be defined, executed and analyzed in the module Quality Control module of Kapture.io. This allows to leave behind the multiple Excel sheets, with their corresponding difficulty to work with, and manage it from an automated and intuitive platform.
The digitization of the diversity of existing control ranges is implemented through configuration options, from visual controls to dimensional or vision machine controls. For example, you can intuitively choose between different control types (from Boolean to cosmetic), add images or operator instructions, or define a standard header for your organization.

What are the benefits of digitizing the Control Plan in Kapture.io?
